These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Color Palette and its tools — the palette generator, image color picker, color playground, explore gallery, paint colors catalog, palette exporter, and color match game — available at www.colorpalette.shop (the “Site”). By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Color Palette provides free, browser-based color utilities for designers, developers, and homeowners. The Site is provided “as is” and “as available,” supported by advertising. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Site. No account is required; we do not create user accounts.
Color values themselves (hex codes, RGB combinations) are facts and cannot be owned by anyone. Palettes you generate with our tools are yours to use freely in personal and commercial work — no attribution required. Palettes, preferences, and scores you save are stored only in your own browser’s local storage; we do not host or back up this data, and clearing your browser data will erase it permanently.
The Site’s editorial content — including articles on our blog, palette descriptions, page copy, design, code, and branding — is owned by Color Palette and protected by copyright. You may quote short excerpts with a link back to the original page. You may not republish substantial portions of the Site, scrape it programmatically, resell access to it, or use it to train competing datasets or services without prior written permission.

We work hard to make conversions (HEX, RGB, HSL, CMYK, LAB) and WCAG contrast calculations mathematically correct, but displays, printers, and lighting vary enormously. Paint colors shown on screen are approximations: always confirm physical color with a real sample before purchasing paint. Nothing on this Site constitutes professional interior-design or accessibility-compliance advice for your specific project.
If you believe content on the Site infringes your rights, contact us through the contact page with details of the material and your claim, and we will investigate promptly.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, relating to the Site. To the extent the Site is provided free of charge, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the Site. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the Site after changes constitutes acceptance.
