How to Play the Color Match Game

1. Generate a Random Target Color

Each round starts with a completely random color. Study it carefully — you have to recreate it from memory using nothing but the RGB sliders.

2. Mix Your Color with RGB Sliders

Tune the Red, Green, and Blue channels until your live preview swatch looks identical to the target. The HEX code shown is read-only — you can copy it, but you must mix the color yourself using the RGB sliders.

3. Check Your Match Percentage

Hit “Check My Match” to compare your color to the target using color distance math. The closer your RGB values, the higher your percentage score.

4. Beat Your Best Score

Your best score and total rounds are tracked during the session. Keep playing to train your eye for color and push toward that perfect 100% match.
